As a leader or collaborator in a multicultural team, you’re unsure of how to inspire confidence, establish your credibibility, and create the right collaborative mindset. The French healthcare system

This workshop presents a general introduction to the Health system in France, including a brief history, the main concept, advantages and shortcomings, the social Security main branches, how to join, who and what is covered, supplementary health insurance or mutuelle, reimbursement procedures, tips for selecting your GP and specialists, rates and fees, etc.

Driving in France

This workshop looks into the driving habits and regulations in France. You will gain insights into the attitudes and behaviors of French drivers, the qualifications necessary to drive in France, the rules governing the use of foreign licenses, the characteristics and operation of French driving licenses, the steps to acquire a French license, the process for converting a foreign license, vehicle registration procedures, essential traffic laws, and the consequences for minor traffic violations.

The French calendar (festivals and rituals, public holidays)

This is an overview of French bank holidays and festivals, including their quantity, historical context, and various types, followed by a detailed examination of 11 specific bank holidays and festivals. This includes their dates, descriptions, origins, historical significance, meanings, geographical locations, global equivalents, culinary practices, interesting trivia, and associated customs.

Dinner and restaurant etiquette

This is a general introduction to French Dining Etiquette addressing topics such as meal times in France, the etiquette of entering a French restaurant, the procedures for initiating and concluding a meal, the ordering process, good and bad manners, the language of French cutlery, the expected length of a meal, pitfalls to steer clear of, advice on being a courteous dinner guest, instructions for proper table setting, etc.

French language training for executives and managers (one-to-one or small groups)

Minimum level required: A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

You know how much your French contacts cherish their language and how sensitive they are to the efforts you make to speak their language. You want to feel more comfortable and confident in your oral and written communications with them. Whether oral or written, your communications (speeches, pitches, presentations, and e-mails) need to be clear and convincing. My coaching will help you achieve these goals. With over 20 years’ experience (10 years in university and 10 years in professional training) in France and the United States, I offer a comprehensive approach to your needs, tailored to your specific situation.

If you want to increase your chances of hitting it off with your French and/or multicultural colleagues, I suggest alternating French language sessions with intercultural communication or French cultural sessions.
