By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Define intercultural communication and identify the benefits of intercultural communication skills within and outside your company or business setting.
- Identify what can hinder intercultural communication (culture clash, culture shock, stereotypes and prejudices)
- Identify some ways of communicating in different cultures (non-verbal and verbal behaviors) and some cultural values or value dimensions (power distance, high context Vs low context, etc.)
- Plan and implement strategies to improve your intercultural communication skills (Actions and attitudes and what an organization can do)
